My feeling of the English project by Matthew

I finished the English project presentation with my teamates James, Christopher, Jason and Terence. Our topic is the diary of a unfortunate kids.

We thought that we have decided a good topic and we had a lot of good ideas and opinions about it. We thought of a good character, the anus ghost, it made our story become funnier, and it is a important role. So that, we found a professional actor to act it, he is Jason Pang, I think his facial expressions are very good, and his actions are funny too. The other important role, William, is awesome too. This is role is acted by the professional actor, Terence, all the classmates know that Terence is good at acting, especially acting animals, like gorilla. We all think that he is quite good. In the trailer, Terence showed his confused expression that he shaked his head that quite impressed me very much. In there, I thanks to all the actors act in the trailer, they did so well. The reflections of the audience were almost postive.

Also, the video cutting and editing is quite a hard job. I have used about 2 hours to do all the works. It is quite difficult because I haven' t tried before. I am learnig while I am working.

Actually, I didn't satisfy our project at all. Our video is too less of information and the editing is quite not good at all. I didn't put the subtitles and the background music. The most reason is my time arrangement is bad. I did the video the night before the presentation because my teamates noticed me the day before the presentation, so I can't arrange the time well. The powerpoint is lack of information too, we need to put more in it, so that the audience can know more about our trailer and the story. Then they will have more interest to pay attention on our hard work.

So, we promised that we will hand in a better work as soon as possible, we will concentrate at the quality not quantity.

  1. Yeah, I think your self-reflection is quite true. Better planning could have made your presentation and trailer better. But, it's good that you have started to learn how to cut videos - it'll be a useful thing to know in the future.

    Well done anyway!
